Margo Korableva Performance Theatre has been founded in 1994 in Tbilisi.

In 1997-99 the theatre was working at Tbilisi State Ballet School. From 1999 the theatre created various performances in New York in such places as: Collective:Unconscious, Here Arts, Theater Et Al, Chocolate Factory, Remote Lounge, Staten Island Arts Cypher, and Spirit Wind Performance Space (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). In 2002, the theater company was invited to participate in the New York International Fringe Festival. In 1996, the company’s workshops were represented at: Capitol City Playhouse in Austin, Texas, SKC Happy Gallery in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. In 2008, Margo Korableva Performance Theatre worked on the basis of the Tbilisi State Theater Institute. In 2009-2013, the company periodically conducted a workshop at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. In 2015, the International Culture Lab, New York after cooperation with Margo Korableva Performance Theatre, established the annual Coney Island Ritual Cabaret Festival for Experimental and Physical Theater.

Since 2020, Margo Korableva Performance Theatre has been working on the basis of the Theatre and Film Georgia State University. Margo Korableva Performance Theatre works on a platform of relativist synthetics. It takes items, deconstructs them and loads them with completely new, recycled and free content. The theatre group uses the method of carnivalism and dialogue to achieve harmonization between physical and mental, action-related and textual sides, material and ideal, and sometimes uses two stages simultaneously acting. Margo Korableva Performance Theatre is represented by artists: Nutsa Iashvili, Keto Tatishvili, Salome Pilishvili, Gigi Loria, Nicka Shanava, Elene Melikidze, Lako Machavariani, Ana Kalandarishvili Founding Artistic Director – David Chikhladze Artistic Director – Nutsa Iashvili Company Managing and Executive Director – Ana Kalandarishvili.
